About me
Veronica Alvarez has been a Regional Coordinator for the Partners Resource Network TEAM Project in the Region 13 Austin area since 2017. Prior to this, she served on the board of the Texas Association of Parents of Children with Visual Impairments, holding various roles over several years to support families of children with disabilities.Veronica holds a Master's Degree in Pediatrics from the Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) in Mexico.Her passion for this work stems from her experience as the mother of her 21-year-old son, Diego, who is a premature, visually impaired, and autistic young adult self-advocate.
